Your channel has the coolest houses. Regular trailer based tiny houses are fun but there's only so much you can do within the boundaries provided by the trailer. You always feature unique and interesting homes

I live near Italy, TX where there is an entire dome home village, much built by David South. They generally have 1 to 2 open houses a year. I never get tired of touring them. Highly recommend it.

The owner of this structure is fortunate to live in this magnificent home. It's a work of art. By the maker and the owners.

Wow the new people have done a great job of renovating this place. It had gotten pretty run down. Sedona is so highly sought after I was afraid someone would buy it for the land and tear down the "crazy colored Easter eggs" so relieved to see this beautiful rehab. Huge congrats to the new owners for their vision.

Very cool space! It was both interesting and disappointing - I was hoping for a tour of the whole place. ♥

The only reason I’m considering a dome house is so I can live in the Gulf. Where there are Hurricanes. Dome homes survive the winds and if they can be placed the right way, they can survive the surges as well.

I remember seeing this home on HGTV years ago, they were showcasing unique homes. Except back then, each dome was painted a different bright color and it was owned by a family with kids.

I loved the original builder! My favorite building so far.

My father was the actual contractor for the dome home and the Xanadu homes in Wisconsin and Orlando. Sadly he passed away in the 80s due to exposure of the chemicals in these homes. I got actually photos of me as a five your old on the sites when they blew up the bubbles and sprayed them with foam.

I absolutely love this home! It’s a beautiful design and a wonderful concept to share it with others. The only draw back for me is the white walls in every room. I need color but that is just my personal preference. Even with the white walls it is a spectacular home!
Cheers

i remember many fun parties in that domes family home... creative joy for sure! the fountain was beautiful and complimented the energy and feel of the place... as did the mushroom pedastle bed... the largest dome was a recording studio... they used to be different colors on the outside too. Nice to know of the new life of this unique place. It was calming to be in that space. I imagine guests really enjoy their stay their! Sedona is still a special place... even if overrun by tourism and retirees now!

I do like these shapes. I loved making miniature things like this when I was a kid just playing❣️❤️ So, of course the idea of living in a giant version appeals to me.

I remember they had a very similar house in Gatlinburg, Tn during the 80’s and 90’s, it was called the Xanadu House. Very cool.

I just love offgrid homes. Specially dome and geodesic homes, they are really cool and beautiful! I didn't know about that contstruction technique using baloons. Very interesting and practical! The home featured in the video is very cool. I dream of living in a dome home someday, but for now the circumstances of my life don't allow me to do so. I would construct a more futuristic dome house, and probably consisting of more than one dome. Perhaps four. I don't know. And I would seek for a more futuristic look, but not exatcly synthetic. I mean with a rustic aspect but somewhat resembling a sci-fi contruction, all with round and curved shapes in the interior, but all naturally lit in the day. The cabinets would be as much as possible integrated with the house, made of the same material which the house itself would be made of. I would aim for a sustainable, eco-friendly house.

It's funny that this is called futuristic, because people in the Sahel region of Africa have being building structures like this for centuries

I've had occasion to pass those dome homes a few times and always wondered what they looked like inside. Very interesting concept.
