Cargo Net Installation | 4x4 Storage Solution

Показать описание
In this video I install a cargo net above the second row seats in my Toyota Landcruiser 200 Series four wheel drive. A cheap item has let me down and I am replacing it with a quality item from Raingler.

These cargo nets are great for storing light and bulky items in your 4x4 that are otherwise a pain in the back side as they never really have a place.

The webbing on this particular cargo net is very strong and will stand up to anything I throw at it.

As always, I have no affiliation with the suppler and I paid full retail for the cargo net out of my own back pocket.

If you enjoyed the video please like and subscribe and I will keep providing weekly content straight to you FOC!

Cheers!

Hi Terry. I am a first time watcher of your channel from WA and have really enjoyed your projects. Especially enjoyed your bonnet scoop project and will keep watching for extra ideas for my own 200 series. Cheers

You should have kept the cargo net and just sewed some flat strap around the perimeter and across the middle?

Cargo nets sure help. Gear organization is my number 1 problem right now.

Good looking solution to a problem I've been working around - a minor point, all the the 200 series items they sell are coded "J200", its not specific to this net

Any idea how many pounds these can hold without breaking? And by this I mean for just holding it down from above as 1 weight in other words to hold things still to not slip around. And the separate weight of holding stuff up from below like a ceiling net shelf above it as a separate weight. Thanks.

Hi Terry, guess that was the first and last piece they sold into OZ for that price. Yep, I still work on that project too but should not cost mor then 20.— AUD for a proper net. Will let you know when I find it. Cheers and Merry X mas

could you use this in a vertical position like front to back instead of left to right? I would like to use for a4runner to stash surf boards inside

In response to your idea that one of the kits was crap and 1 wasn't...

To be sure in theory someone could get like extra cordage and weave it around into the netting to reinforce it themselves. That way they could be more sure of it being able to take extra weight.

Feel free to reply to me also with stuff you are figuring out and I'll try to help back or offer input in thinking about solutions.

Much better. Should result in fewer beanies blowing out the window

I've watched every video on the internet except this one. And I don't have a 200. There's nothing to watch.
