selling it on the 3DS is still technically a good business decision. more 3DS handhelds
= more software sales = more money

It was almost three years after release of the 3DS that X and Y came out. I feel bad for TPC, people expected a game that doesn't exist because fake rumors online lied to them and are taking it out on the games that do exist.

I won't take anything you say too seriously since we I know you're not a huge Pokémon fan, but I will say the 3DS is far from dead.

This is the first time that Gold and Silver has been available in Virtual Console. When VC started, I predicted that we would never see a Pokemon game on VC since they would have to update the netcode to get it to work and I thought they never would do that. 2016, they did so with Gen1 games (which surprised me), and now they're VC'ing gen2.

It's dumb to expect a main series Pokémon for the Switch. It took two years for XY to reach the 3DS. Also, no generation has ever been split-system, ESPECIALLY split-handheld-and-console! BW2 came out on the DS months after the 3DS released. SM on Switch is like XY on Wii U. Maybe eighth gen, but most certainly NOT seventh.

it makes more sense for it come to the 3ds again. the Ds games didn't go to 3ds/wii/wii U. it'd just be weird you know?

Hopefully the lack of a mainline Pokémon for Switch means that they're working on a next gen game for Switch.

you can't say anything bad about 3ds Pokemon games till you try it out.Plus not everyone have a switch.
