Never thought in that way for the right angle triangle formula and I have been only using c^2=a^2+b^2, even though I knew if x^2 - y^2=(x-y)(x+y)

Well yea. Its a neat trick to become faster in finding sides in a triangle.

Here is how it works:
a²+b²=c²
a²=c²-b² we get square difference.
a²=(c+b)(c-b)
a=sqrt[(c+b)(c-b)]

manipulating a²+b²=c², where C is the hypotenuse, seems easier to remember than remembering the "square of the sum times the difference" 🤷‍♂️

see from Pythagoras theorem
h2=b2+p2 so,
b2=√h2-p2
using (a+b)(a-b)= a2-b2
so h2-p2=(h+p)(h-p)


most 8th class Indian students know this🤣🤣🤣

That's not how you get the answer. There it is 5 square minus 3 square is 25 -9 =16

The square root of 16 is 4.
