I Was Trafficked Through The World's Deadliest Jungle

🇨🇴 PART TWO: The Darien Gap is known as the world's most dangerous jungle. I had heard of the Darien many years ago through National Geographic and it had both fascinated and intimidated me. I knew one day I would have to visit...

When the word Darien started appearing in the news in recent years by way of the migrant crises I decided that now was the time to explore it for myself. And so myself and my good friend @TimmyKarter headed north from Medellin in search of a way across the infamous jungle, avoiding cartel and bandits, injury and tropical diseases, on an adventure with migrants from all over the world where national laws don't apply. Only the laws of the jungle.

Join us as we enter...the Darien.

I thought it couldn't get crazier with videos such as the soviet space shuttle, but here he is- the madlad has once again exceeded our expectations!

I think this series should be nominated and win some kind of award for documentary/journalism reporting. This is really world class.

I'm an Irish man who met you outside a shopping center in Belen, Medellin a few weeks ago while waiting for an Uber with my wife and child. Your Greek buddy was with you I believe. I shook your hand and spoke briefly to you before wishing you well on your trip after you kindly offered a photo with me. If I would have comprehended the gravity of the trip you two were about to undertake I would have insisted on saying a prayer for you. You are half mad, but I can't get enough of it.

Whilst other travel vloggers are reviewing first-class lounges, bald is getting detained by Panamanian immigration authorities and reviewing his prison camp. What a wild situation, but so interesting. A shocking real window into the lives of these immigrants and the lengths they go thru for a better life. Your videos are truly incredible.

The mix of emotions I felt watching this: extreme compassion, increased gratitude, frustration that people have to go through this at all, relief that you and those you traveled with survived. You were divinely protected so the world can see what people have to go through to have a better life. As a mother of a toddler, seeing those babies being carried through it all made me feel so foolish for complaining about carrying my child up 1 flight of stairs. I pray that God protects those who will begin the journey and those who are traversing the Darien now, and comforts those who lost loved ones along the way. Thank you so much for sharing your experience!

Holy crap. For those of us knowing Bald from his lighthearted strolls through the Russian wilderness, getting invited by families and drinking and riding with strangers in search of mosaiques, this is a totally new experience. Fantastic work as usual, dude. Please stay safe.

I've been a fan of your channel for about 5 years and I'm usually a silent lurker, but man... This was an absolute masterpiece. Thank you for risking everything to live an experience most of us never get to see or fathom, and for educating us all by providing visibility on these people's reality in the rawest way. What a rollercoaster of emotions that was. You're a real legend, and I'm certainly glad you and Timmy made it out safe. Much love ❤

This is what YouTube is all about, content like this that you just would never get on TV. Good luck on the rest of the journey Ben, Timmy and especially to those doing it who have no other choice.

I’ve never seen Bald get emotional in a video. This without a doubt is one of his most powerful and emotional videos. It really deserves an award.

The camp was probably the most emotional part. It’s like the inbetween part, like a place in transition where you get to see how everyone made it and reflect on the journey. Almost brougt me to tears. RIP to those that didn’t make it.

When I saw you get emotional talking about those you've met along the way and seeing that they survived....that was about as real and raw as it gets.
This has been one of the most sobering and eye-opening videos I have ever seen.
I take my freedom and luxury for granted every single day, and that's wrong!
I'm glad you and Tim made it without harm or injury.
Thank you for allowing us to see the struggles many other people must go through for basic freedom and necessity for life!
Thank

I'm brazilian and even tho i live in a tough situation, i would never do this crossing, any mistake and you could end up dead. I wish all the best to the little girl who hugged Ben and said goodbye, she was the sweetest person possible even in a situation like this, and that's admirable. Unfortunately for many of them, they end up not being able to live in the US. All that said, this video is just better than any documentary out there, this is the pure reality of migrants, no CNN, BBC or Vice will ever make something that will achieve the quality this video has achieved.

This was the most intense episode Benjamin has ever been produced. I've watched every minute of it and every minute was eye-opening. Thanks for this masterpiece!
