How to fix Minecraft 'Created by an Incompatible Version' error | 1.18/1.19

In this video I show you how to fix the error that comes up when you try to run a Minecraft Save that was created in the Experimental SnapShot's for 1.18. This is so far the ONLY way to get these maps to work in other versions as the game such as the full 1.18 release.

Hey, if you used this to convert a world from the april fools 2023 snapshot, you also need to delete the moon from the "worldgensettings" key in the level.dat folder, along with the "dimensions" folder in the world folder. at least thats what worked for me

so i got the world converted but it doesn't generate the new terrain below bedrock on most of the original chunks. I don't think this is a good solution to the problem

I managed to convert to version 1.19.4 but it says errors in currently selected datapacks prevented the world from loading. I tried safe mode as well but it says world contains invalid or corrupted save data. Could you please help me

be a shame if it just worked like they said it would right? So annoying how 99% oif the Minecraft community cant play there worlds and no one is talking about it. I have a 6 year old world with my wife that i cant get to run
