I never thought such a simple announcement could make me cry, but it did haha. Yeah this is my childhood. I am a child of the 80s, I remember playing Atari, and then BOOM here comes the NES, every kid I knew wanted this console. You don't really see that these days. It was something you had to experience just how big it was at the time. I still remember when my brother and I got the NES for Christmas in 90. I was already thinking of going to Universal, but when I heard about this park, I knew I had to wait. And more importantly, I want to experience this land with my brother because it was something we bonded over.

Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2 are my favorite video games. The fact that there’s a theme park designed after it, makes my 5 year old and 32 year old self so hyped.
