but you can use an LC or RC Filter. Dave has a Video where he designes a little switch mode converter and puts and extra LC stage at the end to remove the extra noise/ripple.

You can also use a linear regulator at the output of you psu to smooth that out, but you will end up with less voltage, because the linear regulator has a voltage drop.

generally speaking: it will drop the voltage, depending on your current.

You mentioned how annoying it is to reply to YouTube comments from the inbox. Instead of clicking the link to see all the comments, if you click on the thumbnail image it will take you to your video and the linked comment will be shown. Try it, it may make things a bit easier.
