Mt. Vasilitsa rise to well over 2,200m. Powder snow covers challenging, intermediate and beginner runs
until springtime. Even if fog covers the mountain, you don’t get lost because big looming trees offer
visual reference points.
The resort will now offer a variety of first-class facilities that will become even richer with the newest
updates. There are already installed two aerial lifts total length of 1.800m. 3 surface lifts, baby-lift 350m,
12 ski runs total length of 7.500m, the highest slope for beginners in Greece (3.860m length),
snowboarding & ski schools, shops, rental equipment, chalets and a hostel.

Goals& Design

Basic goal of the upgrade of the whole area into is now to develop more activities and attract visitors
during the whole year. Due to this need, it’s important for the resort to be easy accessible, friendly and
affordable. Not surprisingly, the new resortwill offer a wide variety of ski, snowboarding, bicycle,
climbing and hiking experiences to suit any tasteall based on Skiing, Tradition & Athletics.
Additional, 9 more aerial lifts will be installed (3 of them Gondola type), 11 new ski slopes of different
levels and an artificial snow facility that can provide snow to most of the skiing area. Festivals, music
concerts and traditional Food Taste Street exhibitions will organized in Samarina village to attract more
visitors. Furthermore, in Filippaoi village athletic summer camps will be established and with the
upgrade of the existing athletic facilities, professional athletic team’s training can take place.
Vasilitsa, will now be known for the modern, high-end resort facilities, the consistently good weather
and the authentic and exciting experience. The down-home charm and years of tradition and history
will help to offer a full-service resort experience.
Skiing& Snowboarding
Skiers & Snowboarders will adore Vasilitsa terrains for a variety of reasons, including the first ever
jump contest organized here, and the construction of the first halfpipe. Snowboarders can free ride
backcountry using natural ramps to get big air, or slalom using the huge beech trees as guides.
However, the star attraction is the snow park, where expert skiers &snowboarders do truly amazing air
tricks. Snow enthusiasts can embark on a snow rafting adventure barreling down the mountain slopes
in a hot dog for two, or riding in a 12-passenger raft.
Mountain Biking
At Vasilitsa Mountain, skiing will not be the only way to get from top to bottom. When the snow's gone,
the focus changes from two feet to two wheels - and bikers hit the lifts for hours of pedal-powered
downhill fun.
The terrain offers something for every rider, from beginners to experts. Beginner trails offer a smooth
introduction for the novice rider, with friendly and manageable features. Our advanced terrain it will be
steep and technical, with lots of rock, tricky corners and technical wood descents.A dirt park is also
included, among with learning centers and rental areas.
Our lifts will accommodate up to three riders / ride and offer the opportunity to easily load and un-load
bikes, minimizing rough handling and unnecessary wear. Plus, enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the
mountain as you ride up to the highest bikepistes.
Vasilitsa 4 Season Resort will bring a brand new experience to the mountains! Collaborating with the
