The Belonging Project

Belonging is a joint project between the Belfast Migrant Centre and London-based photographer Laurence Gibson. The goal of the Belonging Project is to encourage development of empathy towards migrants in Northern Ireland by telling the stories of individual migrants via portraits and interviews. The Belonging Project is launching its first month-long exhibition at Falls Road Library Gallery, Belfast, on the 6th of March, with support of Arts Council NI, Belfast City Council, and Libraries NI.
