His voice just sends me to the highest of heights and am impressed by his extension of the word, 'Be'. So spirit-filled and uplifting during these days. I have loved Neil Diamond’s songs since he began singing. I’m 88 years old and I still play his music at home and in my car. I have the book and the DVD and the album. I saw this movie as a kid when it came out in 1973. It is 2022 and it still makes me cry! This music speaks to something in me that is completely and utterly indescribable! The spirit, innocence, strength and weakness of this bird; his desperate want to please his father. It speaks to our, well some of us, of our want to please our Holy Father. We have all of Jonathan's traits too. And with the chaos going on now in our world, we would want to try to treat each other better, with respect, kindness, equality, with a helping hand and love. We hear of Sweet Caroline all of the time. We need to hear more of these songs! Thank you Mr. Neil Diamond for this childhood treasure that I will forever TREASURE! Whew Mercy Lord!!
