Alter-B is funny because it can just evo off any Omnimon.

But talk of Omnimon deck pieces makes me wonder if you can run a Greymon or Garurumon tribal deck and tech one or two of the other level 6 to run Omnimon Ace in a viable way. I mean Takemikazuchi is a little bit like that?

The problem with the Burst Mode Ace is that you need yellow tamers set up, and DP reduction for the turn isn't good enough anymore because of Magnamon X. Just for ShineGreymon, regular Burst Mode is better, and for the upcoming hybrid decks in BT18, Susanoomon Ace is better. Burst Mode Ace just doesn't have a place right now.
