Great review. I wouldn't buy it because of the now outdated 12VHPWR connector, they need to update this. Also UK retailer's are not distinguishing between 12VHPWR and 12V-2X6 PSU's.

The latest version of Vertex now features the 12V-2x6 connector, optimized circuit design, and the PFC MOS has been replaced with Infineon components.

I’d really appreciate your advice on this—would you recommend going for the Seasonic Vertex PX-1200 ATX 3.0, or the Corsair HX1200i, which claims to be ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 certified?, this is because I want to set in there the new rtx 5090

Is the 12V-2X6 connector part only the ATX 3.1 PSUs?

Antec HCG PSU’s are rebranded Seasonic PX but with ATX 3.1 12V-2×6 and a lower price! The only cut back is the warranty, which is 10 years instead of 12.

hi bro, after having a seasonic prime tx-850 i purchased this psu last year to run rtx4090 but after watching your review i have not opened even the shipping box that it came in never mind the psu box itself
i dont know what to do about this, my build is sat there from just before 4090 release, i had to wait for seasonic to release this model then wait for my local store to stock it also
I did not want to have any problems with PSU or cable like i seen many youtube videos on fire.
Also i watch your videos on the 12v cable for GPU THANK YOU, i see in comments someone buy this and it has 2x6 cable and updated curcuits

pls my friend what should i do ?
Should i buy new better PSU ?
Should i sell this Vertex Px1200, Is it not good for long term stable use ?
If i was to use this PSU which comes with 12pin cable or should i get the 2x6 cable for GPU for this Vertex psu and where to get the correct cable pls ?

Wow, VERY small differences with the Seasonic Vertex GX-1200 PSU!!!! I had expected more! In fact for some things the Vertex GX-1200 scores a bit better.

The Vertex PX-1200 is being offered to me from RMA after my Seasonic Prime Tx1000 PSU had a few random shutdowns. Should I take them up on their offer or wait for them to have stock of the Prime TX-1000? Thank you
