Watched both but HxH is better

Protag Yusuke (agreed)
Deurotag Killua/Kurapika (like him more than Kuwabara/Hiei/Kurama
Side Cast Leorio/Morel/Knuckle etc. (Botan/Genkai and stuff are cool too tho)
Antag Toguro brothers were so cold but I feel like Meruem is comparable to him, villains from s1 were just side fodder, Yomi was okay, Shinobu was good. I’d give it to HxH, because Chrollo/Meruem are really good even if Toguro is the best.
Music HxH, don’t get me wrong YYH has some fire openings but HxH themes are too iconic
Detail HxH (the world building for both of these shows are great but HxH put more detail)

Winner HxH imo

Idk about the music debate. I think YYH has more memorable soundtracks and HxH has like 2 or 3 that I like. But the endings are neck and neck. Real question tho: Hyori Ittai vs Smile bomb?
