I usually don't like pop music that much, but I love Maggie Rogers. Some of the songs on this album are meh (Past Life), but Alaska, Light On, and Back in My Body are epic, and Give a Little, Say It, and Burning are lovely. There's something about this lady that really speaks to me.

You couldn't pick her voice out of a lineup? Seriously? I mean everyone's got their own opinions but I found her voice and style incredibly unique which is why I liked some of the songs off the album so much. I definitely think there are weak spots on the album but I wholeheartedly think Maggie is very comfortable in her own skin and is doing her own thing; I think she's got a sound of her own and I really like that. There are far too many pop vocalists out there that all sound the exact same and Maggie feels like a breath of fresh air.
