Super Bowl 52 will remain one of my favorite super bowls that I’ve watched the whole way through.

One of my favorite things to watch are all these long-time, local radio announcers call championship wins for their team. Especially for teams that haven’t won one before or for a long time, I don’t even care what team it is, you can feel the energy and emotion of the entire fanbase come thru in their voices

Harry Kalas and Merrill Reese, two of the greatest voices of Philly sports.

5 years later and every time I see it my heart still skips a beat out of fear that Foles will drop it.

My father was a life long Eagles fan from the moment he was born in south philly in the 40s. Sadly he passed away in 2012 and never got to experience or see this moment. Something he talked about and prayed for every season. I like to think that super bowl was for him, and for every other life long Eagles fan that unfortunately did not live long enough to be there when the team finally crossed that milestone. The 2016 Eagles will always have a special place in my heart, right beside my father

6 years & forty days later, after Superbowl LII (52), tears streaming down my cheeks f/watching this clip.
That Sunday Morning around 11am I stepped off the bus in the city across from the old FOP building, I took half a dozen steps and looked up. Something dark & big was coming into my view, to my utter surprise was an American Bald Eagle ! I spun half way round to follow his flight with my body and eyes with the joy of a child on Christmas morning. Stunned with my heart racing questioning my own sanity or sobriety ! did I see what I just saw? was that real on the city streets? Who gets a gift like that on a street, in the city, on Superbowl sunday?? A lifelong Eagles fan, a regular guy who loves his team. Who my have just seen an omen? This has gotta mean something, rite? Yeah rite? all of this racing thru my head in just seconds in time! I continue watching the Eagle for no more than 60 yards and my view of him is blocked by a train bridge & I see him no more. This is it Jax the Eagles can't lose after this !~!!!! EAGLES are gonna win the Superbowl & only I know it !!! but, who is gonna believe what just happened to me? Oh NO !! So Cool ! who could they ever believe an American Eagle in the city. I suddenly notice my feet touching the ground & the thumping in my chest slows down a little, not quite as hard.. I feel a big grin on my face & my happiness abounds... everything is fine and my Eagles are going to win the greatest game I ever saw !! 41-33.
all this is true Jax... E.A.G.L.E.S. EAGLES ! (I have seen them again flying)

I've been a relentless Birds fan since i was 7, and this Super Bowl was actually played on my 17th birthday (which is rare because leap year makes it skip around past days some years) and this was the happiest moment of my life, just having everyone ask what i want for my birthday only to reply, a Birds Super Bowl Win, AND ACTUALLY GET IT AGAINST TOM BRADY... WITH A BACKUP! Because of week 17, the Super Bowl will never be played on my birthday again, so it felt special, but this one aboutta be special too. FLY EAGLES FLY!

As a die hard italian patriots fan...
This was an amazing game. Yeah, we lost, but it was a rollercoaster of emotions. Truly on of the greatest games ever. And this play...well, i feel honored that we were involved in this, unfortunately not in the right side, but still, if we have to be punished with a touchdown, let it be one of the best ever.
And i still own the shirt of superbowl LII.
Hats of to you, Eagles, and good luck against the Chiefs in the final game! 😊

I'm old enough to remember the first iconic call of Merrill Reese as the Eagles' play-by-play announcer, the "Miracle at the Meadowlands" in November 1978..."Touchdown Eagles! I don't believe it! I don't believe it!" At this time, after forty years of ups and downs with tons of great teams and players, Reese really deserved that championship too. Good for the broadcasting legend!

It never gets old hearing the great Merrill Reese make this call! The Philadelphia Eagles Are Super Bowl Champions! If ever there was a play-by-play guy that deserved to live this moment, Merrill truly deserved it. Hell and High Water, Thick and Thin he's been the voice of the Birds. Love this guy!

Football is much more than a game. It connects people. The Eagles winning the Super Bowl is one of the best moments of my life because I got to witness it with my Dad. He was so proud to have seen that with me. No matter how my day is going, thinking back on this moment fills me with joy.

My step pops is huge eagles fan so I grew up with this guy announcing. He’s got an iconic voice. And this was an iconic play. Even if I’m a Giants fan

Merril Resse is one of the GREATEST play by play voices ever. Period. And that’s coming from a Cowboys fan.

I look back on that day and I still get goosebumps. Hearing Merrill Reese call the game makes it even that much more special. I love that he was able to be part of such a historic day for Philadelphia and the Eagles
