People commenting negatively do not understand why they are used. In high rise residences, there are many restrictions on the elevation of the buildings and the grills. They are supposed to be kept as provided by the builder. There are too many problems with the society otherwise, especially in places like Mumbai. There the high rise buildings have windows that open up fully, and are very unsafe if you have kids at home. They can fall from the windows. Grill is no option as that ruins the elevation. That is why we use these... invisible grills. They are used for security from inside, not for outsider security. They are used so that nobody falls from the balconies.
