Hope this helps someone …if u only have a water hose and broomstick and one person… Turn hose on put other end (with broomstick or pole attached)into pool then while wateris still on unscrew hose from faucet take that end and lay in yard where water can go and it will immediately start to syphon. Happy swimming!

You know something else? If you go around the pool several times and create a small vortex, it will settle mostly in the center. My friend and I do this every time we swim. Makes cleaning it easier.

Take everything you just did... Now put the other end of the hose thats outside the pool back in, and connect it to the return line on the pump. It should be labeled "B" on that pool. If your hose is to wide you can buy a dishwasher connection kit and it will reduce the size. There is no need to waste water and all the chemicals that you put in the pool.

This will work, however it will be super slow and a very weak vacuum.

If you already have a pump and filter, u might as well buy a few adapters and let the pump do all the suction. It will be way faster.

Use the pump and the filter, this is waste of water
