Uncle Dane is a Team Fortress 2 YouTuber (also featured in How It Feels to Play Engineer, the guy who says “Lazy, what kinda defense is this?!”) who makes content on how to play Engineer effectively, often making content about the “Battle Engineer” play style, which involves using the mini-sentry gun and being a front line combat class, as opposed to the usual play style for Engineer, which typically involves sitting behind your sentry gun and keeping its ammo topped up and its health up. This style is often called “turtling” or a “sentry nest”.

As engineer you can hit your buildings or a friendly engineer's buildings with your wrench to either build them faster, repair them or upgrade them. Otherwise the wrench acts like a normal melee weapon.
