The Road to Life is Strange 2 [PEGI]

The first of 5 episodes will release September 27, 2018 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC (Steam)! 

In preparation for release, we wanted to give you one last sneak peek at Episode 1, and tell you a bit more about the thinking behind the direction of Life is Strange 2. ‘The Road to Life is Strange 2’ is a short documentary about the making of Life is Strange 2, featuring an exclusive look behind the scenes and comments from Co-Creators Michel Koch, Raoul Barbet, and Jean-Luc Cano, as well as other key figures in the development team.

one of the main things I still remember, a small aspect of the game but impactful...when Daniel and Sean were at the river throwing stones, trying to make them bounce on the water.
You let Daniel try for himself, but he keeps on failing.

And over and over, the dialogue asks if Daniel should try again - if you let him try again. This keeps on going for a while.
Now naturally, you'd think nothing is changing because it's the same dialogue, same scene...you select "try again" and Daniel keeps failing. So you start to feel impatient and after a while and think "Nevermind, I'm gonna do something else now".

But after a while, if you keep on letting him try...he succeeds. He is able to bounce the stone on the water.

I think despite this is a small aspect, this is an incredible example of how you feel yourself, as Sean...will you be pantient or impatient with your little brother. You expected no change in dialogue, but there still is a change...if you give it the time. I think what the devs tried to accomplish in this scene, translated so well. Like a foreboding message how you will behave around your little brother.

LiS 2 storyline really hits me in the feels. All of the endings are so heartbreaking for me and never failed to make me cry especially seeing Sean at the ending after he was released from jail. The scene where he and Daniel were at the campfire, and he suddenly crying. OMG I can't, that was a very sad scene.

Is anyone else really hoping Daughter have done new songs for this? Their music and the soundtracks makes the game so much more powerful.

It will be very hard to beat the soundtrack from the first game! It was so great, even the music alone without the game gave me the feels

It's so interesting to hear you talk about it. The aspect of loneliness and being an outcast is sth that will feel so different to lis1. Esp to know that your choices will influence the life of a child. Will he come out of this with any positivity with your help in a very extreme situation.

I'm happy you decided to keep the style but brought it you a new level. And the voice actors OMG they are so great and fitting!

To the people still upset about the absence of Max and Chloe. If they make more Max and Chloe episodes, it will probably be just for fan service. Unless the developers have more story about them to tell, which in this case, I don't think so. Would you rather play a game that was made only because the fans wanted it and it gets repetitive because the developers really have no more story to tell about them but they want to "milk" it for the fans so they just come up with random shit?

Im really happy they decided to make a NEW story. Too many developers and writers want their story to live for ever even after it should have ended. Max and Chloes story is all wrapped up, Shawn and Daniels looks very interesting!

I swear I really fell in love with the "Life is Strange" series. I was so immersed every second and so into it that I wanna recreate Chloe's middle finger statue. I saw it and was like "i want that, imma make that". I fell in love with Chloe and max and Rachel and omg it tugged on my heart strings. I loved every moment playing it. 😍😍🌹🌹

I grew up in Oregon, but now I live in NZ now. Your game and the environment give me all sorts of nostalgia, and your soundtrack is molto bene! I miss Oregon, but playing this series makes me feel home again! Don’t ever leave the Pacific Northwest please!

I'm so excited to play this, I honestly have never been so excited for a game. I have such faith in Dontnod that I pre-ordered the game, and I never pre-order games. Good luck guys!
