The future of Vladimir Guerrero Jr and the toronto blue jays has been talked about at length now for years, and we still aren't any closer to a Vladdy extension. Now with the Toronto Blue Jays having only one more year of control with Vladdy, serious questions are starting to arise about Guerrero jr.s future with the team. Will the Toronto Blue Jays and Vladimir Guerrero Jr be able to bridge the gap and get an extension done, or is he destined to hit free agency next year?

Why would her resign? The team is garbage, Beavis and Butthead took him to arbitration last year because they didn't want to pay him and they disrespected him by refusing to call him a generational player. Ross Atkins and his boss, Mark Shapiro, are foolish to allow Guerrero Jr. to walk away. What the front office should be doing is taking the Juan Soto money and redistributing it by resigning and extending both Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette. This would send a positive signal to both players that their contributions and talents are treasured by Blue Jays management. In addition, go and spend meaningfully around Bo and Vladdy to acquire serious talent. This strategy would show both gentlemen that Toronto is serious about becoming a World Series playoff contender. Also, both players are wanted long-term. They should be rewarded accordingly. The only part of this strategy that is wrong - perpetuating a losing environment by keeping Ross Atkins and his boss in Toronto.

I'm not using Rogers anymore if they can't extend him, should've had it done when he hit three years service time like most other young stars when they get a bag. Stop being rational.
