Most teachers though I was the lazy one in the class until we started doing exams and ended up among the top marks.

Don't get me wrong, I was still the lazy one in the class.

i'm an intj and this was how my study sessions with my intp friend used to go when we were still in college. the annoying part was that even with barley studying, she'd still do as good as me if not better lol

That's an ESTJ, not ENTJ.
How I see this scenario with an ENTJ:
ENTJ: Hey, INTP. You know we have an exam tomorrow, right?
INTP: Yes, so?
ENTJ: How are you not studying?
INTP: Nah, I'm good.
ENTJ: You sure about that? Let's do a test.
(They do a training test. INTP aces it.)
ENTJ: Alright, fair play. I'll go back to studying then.
INTP: Why? You seem to be prepared well enough already.
ENTJ: (pauses in confusion, because she doesn't want to acknowledge she's wasting time studying too much, but also work is the only way she knows how to spend her time)
You know, to be sure...
INTP: Alright then. I'll go watch a movie.

INTP goes to watch a movie. ENTJ continues studying. 10 minutes later ENTJ joins INTP in watching the movie.

Reminds me of this one time me (INTP) and my girlfriend (ENTJ) were talking about an essay she was writing. She had to write a fairly long essay about two similar books. The school provided two sets of similar books and let the students pick which one they wanted to compare. You were also allowed to pick your own two books if you wanted to. My girlfriend picked two of the school books but she absolutely hated both of them and had vey little to say about either of them. She told me about her problem and how she was getting stressed about the deadline because she had nothing to write about. She asked me if I knew two books that were pretty similar. I told her that I knew a couple of dystopian books that she could write about. She was sceptical due to the time shortage because she knows how lazy and slow I can be to get things done. She went to get a shower and, later that evening, I surprised her by sending her two full documents full of plot points, character lists, themes, details about the authors, and such about 1984 and Brave New World. She was amazed at how detailed and clearly laid out I'd made everything in just a few hours. She was absolutely over the moon that day and walked her exams.

We can work when we feel like it. We just almost never feel like it.

I never revised for exams because I thought this was a bad principle for exams. If everyone revises the night before the exam, it just tests how much you can remember in the short term, not how much you know properly. The best type of world would have exams where no-one revised, then the results would simply show how much you actually know. But I couldn't stop everyone else revising, I could only control what I did. So I didn't revise. I was doing my little bit to create the perfect system! 😁

And then the INTP gets the top grades...
Before any test, when I look nervous, they ask me, why am I scared, I must've studied everything, and when I tell that I haven't really studied, they think I'm joking, and then when I get good grades(how, I really don't know), I get those iconic looks of disgust.
People call me nerd, cuz I am not a party person, so they think I'm studying when they're enjoying, whereas in reality I'm lost in my imagination, conjuring up theories, devising ways to do different things.
Btw, I recently realised I'm an INTP, so before now, I always questioned why am different from most of my classmates, And y they always saw me through a filter.

I’ve watched this like 5 times. It is very accurate for INTP 🤣. But, as an INTP, I will say that I still manage to do pretty well on tests.
