Everything I have tried from The Ordinary I have loved, but as you say everyone is different. I also love Paula's Choice. I have received samples from Drunk Elephant in subscription boxes so many times and while I have loved the products, I never bought the full size products afterwards because I could always find great comparable products that were cheaper.

The Ordinary, for the minimal products I checked from them (hyaluronic products), I like them. But I don't have a lot of money to spend on skincare, as I am on a strict budget for things like that. So I'm glad it's out there, at least. And I just can't afford more, so I have no choice, really. But it's fine, I like them. That is different for everybody. We all do what we want with that. No one should get angry with you for not liking a brand, it is so individual!

I agree with you on the Ordinary. I honestly haven’t liked anything from them except their oils and their face moisturizer (the natural moisturizing factors one). They either did nothing or broke me out. Even though it’s inexpensive, it’s frustrating that it’s so hit or miss.

I just got a sample of the PC BHA 9 and it’s so good. I’m using it as a spot treatment for acne and it is literally the only thing that actually zaps them overnight. It’s amazing. I’m also trying her 4% Bha to help with acne. It’s so good.

This was a great tag. And so timely too with all the sales going on for spring. Good Genes is my "worth the splurge" favorite too. But I must say: I bought the 1oz size back in Sept 2017 and its not empty yet. I use it 1x each day so it may not be as spendy as it seems at first. Also thanks for the reminder about PC niacinamide booster. Dermstore is running a sale on skincare, so now's the time to add it to my cart.

I like the Buffet from the Ordinary. Great video. Agree that Niacinimide is wonderful for the skin. I go easy with the AHA's. I do notice some irritation so only can use once in a while. xoxo Maria (Life According to Maria - Channel)

Have you tried the Tarte tingle treatment yet? I finally am almost done with my DE framboos and finished my good genes. I have it on the way. I bought it on the recommendation of Stephanie Nicole, she said it was very comparable and it’s half the price, sounds more like the framboos as it is AHA and BHA. It has really good reviews. . I’m excited about it!
