That dam of info bursting yesterday made everyone go crazy. But waiting all day... only for Nintendo to post a fairy, and announce a whole lawsuit was genuinely one of the most insane Nintendo community moments lol. They truly are unlike any others.

Ngl, really killed my hope for Team Sept too. I'm convinced they're gonna basically repeat the timing for the og Switch reveal with October. And if we miss THAT... gg, see yall in January lol.

I honestly don't mind considering the fact the switch is still selling very well to the public.

I never understood the fascination with the console revealing in september when the more likely answer is they repeat the switch formula with october unveil and a first half of the year 2025 release. I'd love to be proven wrong mind you, but it just didn't make much sense.

Now, if we DON'T get the reveal by october, then we're definitely waiting till 2025

To put a silver lining on it, since the normal Nintendo Direct times are gone, the reveal can be at any point now. Maybe even any day.
Which will probably be true until the end of October, at that point 2025 seems more likely.

I just hope people aren't too disappointed if it ends up not getting announced this month. I get that this rumor had people hyped, but Nintendo never said they were announcing the platform in September. Heck it could be early next year it gets announced for all we know. The only thing we have to go off of is that it'll be announced before the end of the current fiscal year, which gives us till the end of March 2025. So, its coming kinda soon regardless, but we can't get over hyped just yet.

With Nintendo not dropping or announcing a presentation after the insane leaks the last few days, it gets me thinking that maybe it wasn’t as accurate or important as we’re making it out to be? Idk, hopefully there’s more to the system that we’ve yet to see like a new ui, new joy con functions, etc.

I feel like every week of the entire switchS life cycle has been rumors of an up-and-coming console, I've completely dropped out until we actually get a reveal its so exhausting. The day isn’t over, to be sure. But I’d say they could easily announce the Switch successor any time between now and next Tuesday, or even at TGS for that matter.

Given the pace of leaks (some credible and some not), if they hold off until early 2025 to reveal, we're going to know everything about the console before Nintendo says anything about it.
