In this video, I go over some important considerations to keep in mind in terms of the height and stability when looking for and selecting a tripod for binoculars or a spotting scope.

Recently I have gone through a spate of testing spotting scopes and high power binoculars for observation and astronomy which has highlighted a number of key points to me which I feel are worth keeping in mind if you are in the market for a tripod for a spotting scope or binocular.

📒Equipment I Use:📒

📒100% Honest, Real Reviews, Advice & Opinions📒
I would like to make it completely clear that like all the reviews and advice that I give on the #BestBinoculars Reviews video channel and website, this is my honest and completely genuine opinion and I am in no way compensated to describe a binocular in a particular way or with a bias.

In other words, if I think a binocular or a feature on it is great, I will say so. If I think it is rubbish or it is weak in certain areas, I will also point them out.

Before writing and publishing any binocular review, I thoroughly research, test, and use the instrument in my office as well as out in the field. I also conduct comprehensive comparisons between the binocular under review with a number of benchmark binoculars in both good and bad light conditions.

Whilst I make every effort not to, I do make the occasional error or am sometimes supplied with the wrong details. If you spot any mistakes, please feel free to contact me either in the comments section, via social media or on my site, so that I can rectify it.

As always, I love getting feedback and your opinions. it is these that help me improve and continue to supply you with content, advice, and reviews that you actually want to watch.

Hi Jason I would like to give you an idea for a future video. So it is about compact (pocket binoculars)
You could talk about their advantages and disadvantages and how they compare to avrage binoculars and talk about the best configuration for compact binoculars. Also i have a question are 8x32 binoculars considered compact or medium sized?

Hi Jason
Recently, ive picked up birdwatching again, and i think i want to invest in a mid price-range spotting scope + tripod + the attachment to the scope itself . Usually, the observations i tend to do are in the ranges between 50 and 300 meters, mainly waders and seagulls by the seashore, but also some other birds, like hawks, eagles, ducks ....
The observations will tend to be static, but sometimes i would take some longer walks to changes spots .
I tend to do birdwatching beetwen early morning and midafternoon, but normally with the sun already up in the sky.
I live in the northwest part of spain, so the water resistance of the scope is quite relevant to me . Also, this part of the country tends to have a cloudy weather and mid light conditions during great chunks of the year.
I would like a 20-60x80 or something in those lines .
Previously, ive used the Vanguard endeavor 82A, and honestly i would like a scope with a little bit more image quality, if possible.
My total budget is around 800€ or less.
Greetings and thanks in advance .

Hi. I am thinking of getting a monopod with a ball head mount for my astronomy binocular weighing 1kg (vortex Dimondback 15x56). Do you think tripod would provide more stable view for star gazing? Or any important pro/con aspect to consider before taking the final decision? TIA

Hello! I’m curious what you think of SVBONY’s range? Like SV48?

Great video, good tips!
I've just ordered a pair of Vortex Crossfire 12x50 (slightly cheaper than the Diamondback model) and the Vortex tripod adaptor.
Does the Bresser Bx-5 tripod come
with a quick release plate that can stay attached to the binoculars tripod adaptor?
Cheers!
