I was almost always seated next to that student, but I was the shy and quiet kid. The *one* time the class snitch had the chance to snitch on the class clown was the one time the class clown made everyone pissed off. When nothing was done, I got up and screamed at the class clown, top volume, in a room that echoed. Classroom turned into a library real quick, never seen the class clown speechless and ghost white till that moment. The snitch immediately turned to the teacher and said the clown was antagonizing the entire table. It was the first time the clown quietly went to the office, and the only time the snitch was appreciated. I spent five minutes in the hallway to calm down with no repercussions, and a rumor started that I’m scary when mad. I was considerably bullied, till the rumor spread and most people backed off/ didn’t do anything to me directly anymore. The class clown was never partnered with anyone in that class for the rest of the year, and the class snitch never even tried to snitch on me and began to follow me around like their new bff. Turned into a win-win all around- with the exception of lunch time. But that’s another story.
