Hi Shelley I do use coloured eyeshadow and love purple, lighter pink, greens and blue on the eyes (or some combination there of 😂). However for those who are a little colour shy coloured liner on the bottom lashes is a great starting place- most colours of liner will pop a more neutral eyeshadow look. This is a great trick for Summer with a cream shadow on the lid and also can tie your neutral eyeshadow look in to your outfit colour. For example turquoise is a great colour for Summer and a turquoise liner on the lower lashes is amazing with it, but purples, greens, blues etc are also really pretty.
Pink or red eyeshadow can be a little trickier to make look good, so teaming it with navy liner or purple (or green or blue) can really make a difference to the unfortunate tired look pink/red shades can have. Cooler toned pink’s work better for avoiding the bloodshot eye look 😂. I wear a lot of pink but the undertone is really important. You can mix a pink eyeshadow with a neutral tone to make a more dusty pink colour and it is also usually more wearable. Best wishes x

I have that palette too Shelly! It would not let me out of Ulta unless I bought it!! One of my ONLY “color” palettes & Iliikkee it! I mostly use the colors to line my eyes when I want a “small pop” of color! Definitely not my usual color story for sure, but the colors (especially in summer) make me happy & pop my dark brown eyes! The silver/lavender/purply shimmer would be a pretty one-and done look! You are really much braver, (and younger) than I thought! My kiddos who are in their 30’s now played Pokémon and it is a walk down memory lane for me! Good video Shelly, Thanks! 👍🏽

Those eyeshadows look gorgeous. Wish we could see the colour shift. I have spent so much money this week already. Hoping that the lip balm is still there in 2 weeks when I get paid again. It sold out so quickly the first time round and I hadn't a chance. My 33 year old son is still crazy about pokemon.
