Interesting single. I will admit that initially I was a bit taken back with the vocals, but I don’t think adding more goth inspired cleans is necessarily a bad move. I could definitely see this sound taking the goth rock community by storm. Where I think the mark was missed, however, is in burying the guitars a little too much to make room for the cleans. When I think Tribulation, I think of those sweeping and creeping riffs that are able to carry both atmosphere and groove. I’m hoping the rest of their next release finds a middle ground between what they are playing with in this single and some of the elements that made their previous sound so iconic. Definitely intrigued though!

That riff/baseline combo is so groovy, but the blackened vocals really gives it teeth. The blend of goth and psychedelic doom is pretty interesting too.

I was wondering when the clean vocals would enter the mix, and here they are. Sisters Of Mercy style of course, I think we all saw it from miles away. But no complaints here, sounds awesome! Adds some nice dynamics to their sound for sure!

took me a second to get used to the new vocals, but I have absolutely fallen in love with this song, and its album. SUPER excited to see this new stuff from Tribulation. such an under rated, and overlooked band.
