Where else can you watch a man disassemble a car engine with a goat standing on top of it, chewing on a screwdriver? Simply brilliant!

The way your daughter is looking at you at the beginning of this video is pure reference! That must be a wonderful feeling.

You have to name Rocky's kid Rockette. Those look like triple square bolts like on VW's. You can get driver sets for those at Harbor Freight.

Yes celebrate your video even if you couldn't get it unstuck but now you know why and you got to show Ralphie another valuable lesson in engine mechanics not every engine will run. It was 42 yrs since anything was done to that one so obviously it was too long. Great video.

Awww, Rocky's little offspring is so cute, name her Rachel. Sorry about the seized engine would loved to hear it run as my Wife had one of those cars in college. But time puts a hurt on everything even us humans. Good video keep them coming, and thanks.

Great Channel. Love the fact that you would find it worth your while to spend time on this Opel. Great stuff. Keep up the good work.

Hey buddy that was a good try. With it sitting for 40 years you can't beat yourself up on it. You can still fix it up just put another four cylinder in it and make it a small family vehicle. As always Rocky trips me out. Rocky son you should name him ( little Rocky Junior ) after all it is his son. Rocky's just like everybody else you can't hate on barbecue. Good video brother. Hope you and your family have a good weekend & thank you for sharing.

I'm late to this party but a 50/50 mix of acetone and ATF work wonders on rusted parts. Better than anything commercially available

I had a gold Opel Kadet wagon in 1972. Really enjoyed it.

If you are want to make the old engine to run you should try to take a piece of wood and a hammer and beat down on the pistons (not too hard) to hopefully shock them loose. Btw love the vids keep it up!

On the crank that snapped weld the best as you can possibly get to that bolt and use that to turn it over

Baby Rocky should be named Pebbles. On the engine, if you had an infinite budget and parts, it might turn but I would wonder if you could find a shop that could repair the block and heads.

Wiki: "Opel OHV engine", which stands for "Overhead Valve" and
is often associated with the Kadett model due to its widespread
use in that car; the "1900" designation simply indicates the
engine displacement of 1.9 liters. Awesome! Lord be praised!
