Shouldn't you try (1) re-setting the washer, (2) check door switch and (3) clean water filter first to see if that fixes the start button not working before ripping apart the mother board? And doesn't taking mother board apart null and void your warranty? Advising people to start saudering points on motherboard sounds like a recipe for making a big disaster.
