Scotland 2019 - EP 03 - Falkirk - Kelpies - Inveraray - Oban

After a rather stressful time picking up of our rented motorhome we drive straight to our first destination: Falkirk Wheel - the worlds first and only rotating boat lift. A few miles further on, are the Kelpies – two 30m high horse-head sculptures where we spend our first night in the new motorhome.

The next day is very grey and rainy. In Inveraray we visit our first castle in Scotland. On our way to the west coast we take a look at the Achnabreck Rock Art and the Temple Wood Stone Circle – both of them are over 5000 years old! And Oban is our home for 2 nights. It's a lovely harbour town with excellent fish and chips!
