From the STARchives: Arms and the Man (2011)

Показать описание
In this charming comedy set in 19th-century Bulgaria, celebrated playwright George Bernard Shaw weaves his infamous wit with a satirical study on the glorification of war and romantic love. Our Season 5 production of ARMS AND THE MAN featured dreamy costumes, a rotating multi-location set, and larger-than-life performances.
About this clip: The young and idealistic heiress Raina Petkoff professes her "Higher Love" to her fiancé Sergius, who has just returned from a successful (if ill-planned) cavalry charge in the Battle of Slivnitza. When Raina departs, however, Sergius quickly turns his attention toward the Petkoffs' strong-willed servant, Louka.
