I am 100% on board with all the recent love for this overlooked gem. It's the kind of love it needed for years now!

Even though I'm a recent fan, I can certainly say that this is a masterful rhythm game, launched at the worst possible time it could've been launched. If Activision, FSG, and the Guitar Hero team (but mostly Activision) had waited a couple of years to release this, it might have saved the rhythm genre from its early grave!

Also, kinda wished they didn’t stop making DJ Hero in the first place. I’d wonder what it would look like today if there was a more ‘modern’ version of the game sub-series (how there’s Guitar Hero, which is why I’d call DJ Hero and the other ‘Hero games a ‘sub-series’).

Here is an Idea. There are some songs that were never released onto the main game. One Remix I know and am surprised they never released with the game was Love Game vs Lets Get It Started. If you can find the audio and somehow chart it would be amazing! Because we could all see how it would have felt if it was truly added to the game.
