Adding a zigzag after the hopper would help align them.

For the maltesers getting stuck at the bottom: if you move the handle to the top (or side) instead you can close it without an issue :)
As for the ones getting stuck at the top. Perhaps a funnel that ends in a slightly slimmer position would help?

Hoi Emile probeer is een keer een jericho trumpet te maken een jericho trumpet maakt het angstaanjagende geluid van een stuka, een duitse bommenwerper tijdens de tweede wereldoorlog. Ik denk dat dit erg interessant is om te ontwerpen.

Nice idea but I can see room for improvement; Move the hand crank to the top right. Make the ouput tray sloped. Remove any hard edges in the feeder. Keep the Maltesers in the fridge. ;)
