Hi,

This is my quick review of the Yi Lite Action camera

I bought it as a cheap alternative to a Go Pro for when I went on holiday - I wanted something to take underwater footage whilst snorkelling.

Anyway, here my thoughts plus some sample footage.

I am looking for a cheap action camera. I want to use it when i fish. Is it possible to turn on recording with this camera with one button hit? (i would like to place it on my cap with a accessory strap and have the option to one button recording when i get a fish) would it be possible?

The case looks like tupperware. You know in the movie "Spinal Tap" when the guitarist has those tiny bread slices and tries to make a sandwich? Well, you could put a tiny sandwich in that see-through tupperware case and taunt peckish fish with it. Do it with goldfish, and it'll be the gift that keeps on giving. They never learn.

I like wide angle for stills, and 28mm for video or it looks too distorted
