Shows you more $$$ doesn't mean better quality, it baffles me how a company can mess up the tonality on very expensive IEMs.

I honestly think the Solaris Special Edition look better.

I am not "into" music, nor sound quality. This review just came up randomly in my feed. I Think the packaging is amazing on both products. However, they are listening devices, so with that price point, I would expect a transformative listening experience.

Additionally, in an earbud device, you can't put that much weight outside the ear resting on an earbud inside the ear canal and expect that to be comfortable for any length of time. The ear canal is not physiologically designed to be weight bearing. In fact, the entire ear isn't designed to be weight bearing. Not sure who thought this boondoggle of a product would be good. That the sound sucks at this price point is flat-out ridiculous. (I'm seriously wondering if you got a busted product, either in manufacturing or in shipping?) Then again, with the physical design of the product being so oblivious to how it would be used in real life, perhaps the sound being terrible is

The sound you described is definitely not what Thummim sounds like.

Not gonna lie, when I first saw pictures of the IEMs in their case, I thought they were a set of metal D20 dice before I realized what I was looking at.

It's a real shame that they sound awful and have poor ergonomics.

This two(Thummim & Homunculus) really NOT good at classical music(Lack of treble) included the MMR Balmung, but the MMR Balmung are really excellent listen Pop and Rock N Roll
