Feeding The Dwarf Frog

African Dwarf frogs or ADF will eat dry foods and well as live foods.

I hand feed mine on tweezers they have tubeifex cubes and they go mad for them. They are so fun to watch and I love mine. I never thought of removing mine.

My dwarf clawed frogs live in a big community tank and they are doing just fine! I feed the fish (and frogs) just before the lights go out. Everybody gets to eat. The frogs are more active during the night, so by feeding late in the evening I make sure they're already up

And know this: they do not need to eat every day. They don't eat every day in the wild aswell

These little guys are full of personality. Sadly I lost mine few weeks ago after it developed some fungi thingy on his face. I'm gonna some new recruits soon. Tank seems kinda boring now without him.

Thank you for the video, I was curious on how they ate their food and wondered if there was something wrong when mine would randomly launch out at a moss ball or plant. Nope, they are just enthusiastic eaters.

I keep My dwarf frogs with 2 minnows, 2 goldfish, 2 algae eaters, 2 eels, and 2 Plecos.
They all get along and share the food.
Never had a problem in 3 years

I love African Dwarf Frogs! She will readily eat in her tank. She loves bloodworms! (midge larvae one), and this video is so cute, I love how they literally slurp those scuds and daphnia.

when you feed small live food, like fruit flies. it may indicate to the frog that they should give birth, given the opportunity for food tadpoles can eat
