Step 1: Keep it simple, don't do anything weird or complicated, just be natural
Step 2: MOVE YOUR ARM LIKE SPIRAL STAIRCASE

Watching these videos will provide more value for you as a pitcher than 95% of college pitching coaches.

Man, you saved me. I didn't know about that spiral thing. I always wondered about how pitchers look like they are "breaking" their elbows but is all about the spiral. Thank you very much

Hey Trev, you’re the man. I’m a junior in high school and I watch a ton of videos about this kind of stuff and no one does a better job than you. Just wanted to say thanks for all that you do here and on twitter and for baseball in general.

Huge problem with baseball, only 27k views on this video. This is genius, teach this to every little kid so we can stop the arm injury pandemic.

Trevor I hate you haven’t been signed! Please do another series of videos like this they are so good for developing pitchers.

Hey Trevor, could u show clips, pictures or stand up describing these body movements? It’s sometimes hard to visualize when your chest is towards the camera how the arm should. Also, having your full body in the frame could really show the full chain of reaction. (Maybe an idea for another video. Thanks for the tips

Hello Trevor these are great videos. I have young boys who play baseball and I just want to teach them correctly. I pitched in college but was never taught to throw correctly which ended my career with shoulder surgeries. So thank you again for taking the time.

Arm spiral and clearing the glove arm are the two keys I constantly have to harp with any of the kids I work with or players on my team. Once they finally feel it work correctly it’s amazing to see the lightbulb moment they have.

Great stuff here! Been playing Baseball all of my life and constantly learning, happy to have a major league guy putting out educational videos!! Just need to remember to bring a glove and sit behind center field wall so we can play some catch!!!

Almost time for pitchers and catchers to report. Sweet! Good luck in Cincy, Trev, let's see you get 300 Ks, and let's see you hit a HR this season. Health, wealth, and much love, from The Land, forever, bro

Love the way u simplify things. I’ve got some kids who are so messed up because things were explained to them in a very complicated way. I also like how this video really complimented the lower half video. I’ve got some kids to watch and they have to explain your video to me, they are the coaches and I’m he pitcher. Will let u know how it goes.

Your instructions are excellent! Wgat would really add to you instructions is show in slow motion each phase!
Then show in its entirety the spirial that you talk about.
1. Show the angle of the body as seen by the catcher (no open position).
2. Show the forward foot plant position.
3. Show the arm position as it begins to throw.
Thank you!
