Well, economically Klang Valley GDP is about US$180bn whilst Singapore is about US$400bn. In many other key rankings, KL is always 2nd to Singapore in ASEAN and generally within top 9-10 in Asia in many areas. More importantly, greater KL is much bigger, have bigger houses and lower cost of living. KL is definitely better option for those who are say affluent status say US$2mil - US$5mil net worth but not crazy rich.
