“Anne of Green Gables” was, by far, my favorite read of last year! This book actually made me feel happy, which I’ve never felt before. I already want to reread it. I have bought 4 copies, if that tells you anything. I will be reading more from L. M. Montgomery this year!

I was reading mostly cozy mysteries until I found you and some other Christian YouTubers ; which I’m glad I did you all have broadened my reading world so much! I love it! I am much older than you and get daughter/granddaughter vibes from you! Lol! I loved this video. Thank you for being there!

I was so pleasantly surprised by Anne of GG. I thought I wasn’t going to like it bc of the hype. But I was proven wrong!! Love it so much and it’s one of my favorite books now. It genuinely made me feel happy, nostalgic, and like a warm hug!

I'm happy that you are willing to try books outside of your comfort zone. If you keep on trying different books, eventually you may find a different genre you enjoy as much as romance.

I didn't connect with Little Women, but a lot of people love it! Apple Cider Slaying sounds like a fun read.

There are so many books you can get on kindle that don’t publish on paper. They usually seem to have more faith content in them too and there’s tons of romance!!

Both Little Women and Anne of Green Gables are brilliant books that have life long lessons in them which to me is what makes them so timeless. Author Rachel Dodge brought out a devotional for each one that links areas of the books to scripture which is fascinating and gives the stories a whole new depth. I am currently reading Little Women and the devotional and finding it really good. Definitely worth a try. 😊

I have read the whole Anne of Green Gables series more than once. I would highly recommend it. I read Anne when I was 15 or 16 and after that read the rest of the series. Anne just makes me feel good. It gives a happy and refreshing feeling. I think you would be the right age for the series. The next 5 books in the series, I believe are not as interesting for children. Once you get to the last 2 (Rainbow Valley and Rilla of Ingleside), younger people would actually enjoy the series again. I usually read Christian books but this series is also great. Rilla of Ingleside holds a special place in my heart but to read it without the rest of the series would not even be close to as good.
