I don't know if I have to blame Robby (who hurt Miguel extremely with no intention but with no regrets after that) or Miguel (who continued the fight at school and pissing off Robby who just wanted to end it)

Miguel showing mercy wasn't the mistake, it was letting his guard down. he could have shown mercy but stayed alert to defend against any further attacks.

The only way for the show to continue to a fifth season in that case would be for Kreese to create a new dojo. Johnny fires Kreese from Cobra Kai, but he doesn't give up easily. He creates a new dojo, with Kenny and Kyler as its first students. How would Kenny appear? Because of Anthony. The bullying would continue, but instead of Shawn asking him to go after Robby, Kenny ends up meeting Kreese. Kyler walks into the new dojo just so he can kick Miguel's ass. Just like Miguel in the first season, Kenny beats up Anthony and his friends in front of the entire school, drawing attention and thus bringing new interested students to the new dojo. A new Cobra Kai rises, new characters and another tournament. Now what would be missing would be Terry showing up to help. This time, Kreese would have no more redemption. Both Terry and Kreese would be determined to destroy Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do.

Plus the fans love those two characters so they would get excited anyway. Nobody said Daniel needed a reason to see those two characters. Plus if we didn’t see them, fans would be really mad so....
