Side part vs. center part. Why does one work for some and not others? It has to do with the shape of the face. A face that is longer or even heart shape can successfully wear a center part. If a face is wider or round, then a center part accentuates the width of the face. The side part adds volume to the top of the head and deemphasizes the width and helps to elongate the appearance of the face. Audrey’s mention of fluffing the hair to tweak a look might have something to do with the neckline and it’s affect on the upper 1/3 of the outfit. The volume on the top of the head can help with the 1/3 proportion. Of course, this is just my humble opinion.

I'm trying to emulate your style-- elegance that saves a little room for fun! Thank you for helpful content like this as I refresh my closet to go back into the world

Thank you Audrey💕. As a fellow petite woman I think the 1/3 top and 2/3 bottom concept helps me really feel slim and taller☺️. I love your lovely presence 👑

I love the fact that you keep your videos at a curated length of 5-10 minutes.

I am SOOO envious of all your green pieces. I have been looking so much to find emerald green but it’s hard to find. I’ll keep trying! You look beautiful!

Great tips 🙏🏼 I’d like to see your idea of hosiery. How to style, where to shop etc. for this coming winter.

Throwback: I bought an oval gold pendant necklace inspired by you, last year or so. I feel so wonderful with it. It’s a touch of both feminine and romantic and nostalgic looking, and for some reason, I still do not see anyone wearing one but myself. I also bought a silver one.

Such elegant style, Audrey. My go-to tip is the rule of thirds. Such an easy way to change up an outfit but it has a dramatic affect! Thank you!

The one third to two thirds guideline is not always one third on top - it can be the other way around. I am an apple-shape - and it would look dreadful on me. I wear long cardigans or sweaters - which look fine on me as I have longer legs ( like many apple-shapes}. The one third on top looks better on pear-shaped women.

This is so helpful, especially for someone who doesn't own a lot of clothing. Thank you.

Lovely video, Audrey. Bringing color up to the face is something I just recently tried since I let my hair go gray as it makes for such a versatile backdrop. I find for me that experimenting with what Audrey suggests you can bring light toward the face which combats the "washed out" look some of us "silver siblings" will encounter. I would have never worn mixed metals or colored ceramics, however, now its a chance for accessories to take center stage if you wear mostly neutrals as I gravitate. . Regarding hair style, I have two 1 inch white streaks on either side of my face and pulling those forward and bounding the rest in a low pony really gives me another canvas to feature larger hoops and drop earrings which I would have never considered. It has been fun to elevate my jewelry game outside of the small studs I have worn for years.
