All the great scholars of islam were sufis. Sufis have the most knowledge and they’re the closest to Allah. They’re the true muslims full of peace and love just like prophet muhammad the exact opposite of salafis/wahabis

You misrepresent Sufism. Sufism teaches surrender to Allah. The Great Jihad is the inner struggle with the personal ego/nafs, which stands between us and Allah.

Meanwhile my "sufi" sheikh spent more than half of his life studying islam (fiqh, and hadith etc. in Egypt. The big islamic university where you get doctorates in islamic studies. Our tariqa is based on Istighfar, salat un-nabi, and Laa ilaha ilallah. All of which can be found in Qur'an. You can't be on my Tariqa without the 5 pillars.

Perhaps there may be some elements of Sufism that can amount to bidah, but I don't believe that sufism as a broad subject would entail anything that is directly against the Qur'an and sunnah. A mainstream Muslim can still greatly benefit from sufi elements to enhance their Ihsan and increase taqwa. We should not be so quick to judge and "otherise" groups, it's dangerous and leads to further division in this already broken ummah.

It is not right that Sufism is blamed squarely by Sh Abdur Rahim which, reflects more like a Salafi statement. No offence to any section of the Ummah, but it is well known, Salafis are well known for extreme views. Real Sufis do not get involved in ‘fitna’ or divisions and dissensions. I am disappointed that Sh Abdur Raheem has taken this outrightly dismissing stance about Sufism. To understand Sufism, Imam Al Gazali’s ‘Yahya Urumqi Ad Deen’ should be studied and understood.

I love sufi they were Christian’s sabain, and followers of Moses before the coming of prophet Muhammad s.a.w they are apart of Islam when the Quran reached them it completed there knowledge from the previous scriptures..
