"MTV Greece" was the regional version of "MTV" for the Greek market, it started on September 1, 2008 on the terrestrial analog TV of Attica and was combined with the grand live event "MTVDay2008" with "R.E.M., Kaiser Chiefs, Gabriella Cilmi, and C Real (on October 9, 2008)", which was simultaneously broadcast live by five regional editions of MTV in Southern Europe ("MTV France, MTV Italia, MTV Spain, MTV Potugal and MTV Greece"). And on October 1, 2008, "MTV Greece" joined the subscription platforms "COSMOTE TV (in High Definition version) and NOVA", while it definitively ceased operations on January 11, 2016...

To “MTV Greece” ήταν η περιφερειακή έκδοση του “MTV” για την Ελληνική αγορά, ξεκίνησε την 1η Σεπτεμβρίου 2008 στην επίγεια αναλογική τηλεόραση της Αττικής και συνδυάστηκε με την μεγαλειώδη Live εκδήλωση “MTVDay2008” με “R.E.M., Kaiser Chiefs, Gabriella Cilmi, and C Real (στις 09 Οκτωβρίου 2008)”, η οποία και μεταδόθηκε ταυτόχρονα ζωντανά από πέντε περιφερειακές εκδόσεις του MTV στη Νότια Ευρώπη (“MTV France, MTV Italia, MTV Spain, MTV Potugal and MTV Greece”). Και την 1η Οκτωβρίου 2008 το “MTV Greece” εντάχτηκε και στις συνδρομητικές πλατφόρμες “COSMOTE TV (σε έκδοση High Definition) και NOVA”, ενώ διέκοψε οριστικά την λειτουργία του στις 11 Ιανουαρίου 2016...
