All We Imagine as Light is a 2024 drama film written and directed by Payal Kapadia. The cast includes Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, Chhaya Kadam and Hridhu Haroon. The film was an international co-production involving companies from France, India, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Italy.

All We Imagine as Light premiered at the 77th Cannes Film Festival on 23 May 2024.It was the first film from India to compete in the main competition since 1994, and won the Grand Prix.

Sucharita Tyagi is the newly elected Vice Chairperson of the Film Critics Guild of India. With nearly 20 years of media experience, she is best known for her popular movie reviews on YouTube, where she has built a community of dedicated fans. Now splitting her time between Mumbai and New York, Tyagi also has extensive experience in broadcast radio. What a wasted opportunity by not sending this movies to Oscars, this movie already had all the hype, publicity after winning at Cannes would have easily been in the nomination list without much efforts, even "Parasite" (2019) got the Academy's attention only after winning at Cannes.

I was so looking forward to watching the movie. I went to theatre today. I didnt quite like the movie. Found it boring. I have started to doubt my taste in movies which i was once proud of. However, all the best to the team.
