@Tharbamar : Hello and greetings, thank you very much for sharing your experience with the Muzishare X11. I also can whole heartedly share on the some philosophical views you put in the introduction. Most importantly, your passion and joy with this hobby in general, and with tube rolling in particular, clearly transports in the video presentation.

As for my steps, I am still undecided on whether to got for X9 or X11. With the Bowers & Wilkins 703 S3, I have very precise speakers, very different from Klipsch Cornwall IV, for example. I am positive, that in the weeks to come, it will “ make click “ one evening, maybe after collecting more information.

Thanks for your experienced insite to all the components you review. We all appreciate it. Just wondering if you have tried Cryotone tubes. I swapped out all of them on my Galion TS-120SE awhile ago. I was am still am gobsmaked by how good these are. Super quiet, dynamic, all of it. They are the single biggest upgrade i have every carried out in 52 years of being in this hobby. Period. Including new speakers. You owe it to yourself to try them.

Just put four of these 12au7 tubes in my Rogue hybrid preamp. Excellent. Very enjoyable detail space tone etc.

I need to adjust my opinion about Horizon tubes. I have some Art levelPSVane tubes with good longevity. I then bought some of their lower level tubes but they went defective after short time emitting a 60 cycle hmmm from one speaker. I thought the Horizon tubes (4) 12au7 tubes would do better but sadly after about 100 hours one or more of the tubes has succumbed to the same problem making a humm through my speakers. The noise went away and has stayed away upon replacing with Genelex Gold Lion tubes. I think I'm done.

The latest 6SN7 Psvane tubes i purchased were some of the worst 6SN7s i've ever purchased... 6SN7s are my favorite tube (i know their sound well). Also, Grant Fidelity dropped PSvane from their tube lineup stating the following:

Grant Fidelity stated that the decision (dropped PSVANE sales) was made due to "deteriorating quality and disagreement on business practice"
