Thank you so so much. Peri-menopause has been hell on earth for me. My life came to a halt out of no where.

Thank you so much for this video. I’m 60 years old, and in great health. But in the last six months it’s been absolutely horrible. The hot flashes, brain fog, joint pain, and I looked in the mirror and OMG I couldn’t believe my skin. Trying to talk to different doctors telling me no you’re too old. HRT wasn’t gonna do anything for ME if I was to start on HRT now your way outside of the window. Just so many excuses I even had a doctor ask me do you have grandchildren my reply was no why? He then proceeded to say because if you had grandchildren that would take your mind off all the stuff that you’re going through🤬really.

What is the dosage you recommend for the transdermal estradiol patch? I was prescribed .025 mg, but I thought the minimum dosage to prevent diseases of menopause was .05 mg. Is there a study I can refer to?

I’m 50, menopausal symptoms started 2-3 years ago, very slowly and far between. Had hysterectomy (ONLY uterus removed) for fibroids at ago 29. No hormone replacement until last month. Started BHRT, Biest/progesterone cream (that’s what it says on my prescription applicator) about 2 weeks ago. My saliva hormone test came back with super low estrogen, low progesterone, testosterone was low/normal, DHEA was low and cortisol was low. ER visit in August 2021 for rapid heart rate and palpitations that have progressively been getting more frequent over past about 1.5 years (very sporadic) tests came back as low potassium (hypokalemia) and dehydration. All my cardiology test have come back normal (7 day monitor, multiple EKG’s, echocardiogram)… that’s when I asked the doctors about menopause and hormones… at that point I was tested! In your opinion is progesterone what I should be taking if I don’t have a uterus? My estrogen was so low that I just had a down arrow on the chart… Estrogen was by far the lowest out of the five hormones that were tested… any input that you could give me on what I should speak with my gynecologist about would be very much appreciated ❤️ also, I get dizzy and or lightheaded sometimes quite easily so I’m thinking my electrolytes are unbalanced…

I just started estradiol gel 0.5 mg 8 days ago and I am really bleeding from the start. I am 50, still having periods, but thought I was being proactive as I have a few symptoms related to perimenopause. And by bleeding, I mean heavy! My breasts are really tender also and I am bloated. In all honesty, I am scared to hell, my doctor is only available from mid september. I was supposed to add progesterone on day 11-21. Today I called another doctor who told me to stop the gel, as I am in low progesterone, not low estrogen phase as a perimenopausal woman. I get to see him in two days… what a bummer, I was so excited about HRT, now I kinda feel stupid for asking for it

I've been on HRT since December and I am 54 years old. Prior to starting HRT I took quite a number of supplements to address the symptoms of menopause. I stopped taking them so that I could monitor the progress of the HRT. Can you please advise which supplements I should be taking now that I am also on HRT. Thanks from Australia.

I’ve been wondering if my mums too old at 70 to start? Menopause was 53. She’s never been the same since mentally or physically. Would the cons outweigh the pros in her case?

Thank you so much for this information. I’m a very young, healthy, athletic 67 year old. My vagina has atrophied so terribly I can’t even imagine having sexual relationship it’s too painful. I was on estrogen oral until 4 years ago it became inaccessible bc of doctors. The last gyn flatly told me I was “too old”. Excuse me while I shuffle off to my rocking chair! Not. Since that, I’m self-medicating with estrogen I buy online from Mexico. I would prefer to be treated by dr., I don’t have the time don’t want to fall out of another “window”.

Hello! So what your saying if you start taking HRT after the 10 year time frame you don't get the cardiovascular benefits that come with taking hrt? I'm 6 years post menapausel and would like to start taking HRT. I've never had any menapasuel symtoms that affect my way of life. But I do have a family history of heart attacks, oestoporosis, and alzheimers. Please advice!

Hi. I'm 56 and started HT right away when menopause kicked at the age 51. I'm healthy except for a bit excess weight and I just wonder if you could talk about post menopause. Do I need to take hormones for the rest of my life?

I don't think I want to take hrt after I hit menopause. I am eating lots of berries, flaxseed, olives, olive oil, cruciferous veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, spinach, kale, chickpeas, black eyed peas, lentils, navy beans, white beans, black beans, etc.. I want to replace lost estrogen naturally.

I’m 53 and still have my period. It’s sporadic, sometimes I won’t have one for 5 months and then I will get it back every other month. My GYN put me on the pill. Is that the same as hormone Therapy.?

For me, the postmenopausal years have been 17. My last mission cycle was at 43 and now I’m 60. I’m incredibly healthy actually all of my test results and all my scans have come back very good is 17 years just a no go for me on HRT?

can you share the studies that show higher risk over 60, 70 etc. ?

i've looked and it seems like the timing hypothesis is pure theory
I was in the cohort damaged when HRT was demonized by the WHI and I feel like it is still happening

Hi. I am47 and perimenopausal, but I still have regular periods . I read that tak8ng estrogen before menopause can helpnprevent bone loss better than starting after menopause. I'm wondering what you think of doing this. And if one does take iit when in perimenopause, how would one know whether they have entered menopause.
