Written by Marti Sharron, Albert Hammond and Peter Ratelson. Arranged by Harold Faltermeyer. Produced by Jack White.

A lady with an impressive resume scored a Top-40 hit in Germany with “Tonight”. Marlene was 20 years old and working at the Aladdin Casino in Las Vegas when she was spotted by Frank Sinatra who asked her to open for him when he was on tour. She worked on and off with Frank until 1982 when she went to Europe to begin making records. One album, “A Woman In Me” and three singles followed, including “Tonight”.

She returned to the US in 1985 and continued working Vegas and also the corporate circuit, playing conventions around the country.
Co-writer, Albert Hammond was a member of the group Family Dogg. As a song-writer, he co-wrote such big hits as Leapy Lee’s “Little Arrows”, the Hollies’ “The Air That I Breathe” and his own recording of “It Never Rains In Southern California”.

Arranger Harold Faltermeyer has also had an extensive career. Probably is best known work is “Axel F” from the film, “Beverley Hills’ Cop”, which reached #3 on the Hot-100 in 1985.
