I was in Oki that year at Futenma. Marine Corps ball post 911 SUCH a weird time there. Ironically, I got orders to 4th Marine Air Wing in Newberg NY just 90min out of the city, was on ATFP security the whole time didn’t do a lick of my original job for my last 2 years in the Corps. Such a pivotal time and we had that big ass typhoon during Sept 11th there too.

That must have been at the Palms Club. I was with 7th Comm BN from 2001-2002. Good times. We had ditch parties (literally, there was a ditch behind the PX and we'd go there and hang out).
