Hi Professor, you are a great professor and you explain really clear. I have a question about one of the lectures: microstates and macrostates. If you have a container divided into 2, and you have 6 molecules starting on the left and then, the molecules are allowed to move freely. Will the equilibrium macrostate be the same if the particles are distinguishable or indistinguishable? Will the final macrostate still be 6!/(3!3!)? Please let me know. Thank you very much.

We could've also done that by writing V=Ed in the energy equation 🤔 for a easier calculation.

If the work done equals the negative of the change in the potential energy, why dont we take W=E0-Ef instead of W=Ef-E0?
